As part of its Arts Month 2018 programme, held in March, Swire Properties invited three British artists, Phil Ashcroft, Graeme Brusby and Duncan Jago, to take part in a live street art event at Taikoo Park – the four-acre landscaped gardens adjacent to One Island East at Taikoo Place.
In collaboration with leading architecture and design firm, Aedas, each artist was commissioned to paint a large canvas 'mural' expressing his unique and personal response to Hong Kong's vibrant energy. Smaller canvases from the art walls were later sold in an online auction to raise funds for the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation's programme for disadvantaged and underprivileged youth.
